Federal P3 Projects

Even during the earliest stages of our development, our base of P3 and federal-specific knowledge has allowed us to support federal P3 procurements and provide expertise and advice on P3 matters. To date, PPP Canada has supported two federal P3 projects coming to the marketplace: the Communications Security Establishment’s headquarters and the RCMP ‘E’ division headquarters. Both of these projects have been strong indicators of the need for new innovative approaches to infrastructure delivery, driven by a desire to produce greater value for Canadians.

In addition, we’ve assisted the Public Health Agency of Canada, Public Works and Government Services Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and Library and Archives Canada, among others, to review the P3 suitability of capital projects, assess and develop business cases, conduct market research, manage advisory contracts, and prepare procurement documentation.

PPP Canada believes that the increased value and accountability generated by more and better P3 procurements, in addition to the budget certainty they provide, will leverage savings for taxpayers, far beyond the operations of the organization.
